Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join Wheaton High School PTSA. Why?
Joining improves communication between us all, shows our students that we value their education, pools our volunteer power, and helps build a strong Wheaton High School community network.
Wheaton PTSA organizes and helps fund the Student Directory, Post-Prom, and many other events.
Remember to contact PTSA to donate funds or volunteer your time for one event, one project, or several. Fund raising events, social events (post-prom, for example), student newsletter or directory, are just a few examples. Use the Membership and Volunteer forms on the Quick Links menu or email us.
The federal government on April 26, 2009, declared a public health emergency after several cases of swine flu were confirmed in the United States. It is expected that more cases will be confirmed in the coming days. A number of US schools have been affected and are taking appropriate precautions to avoid the spread of the disease.
As the National PTA suggests that all schools and PTA units follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other appropriate agencies, in response to preventing the spread of flu germs, we are providing a widget below from the CDC to pertinent information and offer the support systems and networks that PTA naturally provides for our school to ensure effective and efficient communication among parents and families.
